The Challenge
Glass Doctor wanted to hyper-target around localized sports programming, including OTT at the ZIP level where possible, during peak periods of their seasonality. They needed to also ensure that their anticipated budgets for this could deliver better targeting and lower their cost-per-acquisition.
The Solution
YouConnex began by looking at how their previous broadcast campaigns performed during peak periods, mapped out their most-likely-to-convert zones, and ensured they could be seen in premium-level sports programming while providing true transparency in the amount that went to working media vs. fees.
The Results
YouConnex was able to reduce wasted audience (outside of their targeted ZIPs) by 52% year-over-year by moving out of wide broadcast spoilage areas as well as some of their previously unoptimized OTT/CTV partnerships, increasing targeted high-profile sports programming and delivering a 14% cost reduction in their previous average cost-per-acquisition.
